1st Inning (Top)

Shayla Esgro flies out to center field to open the game.  Kellen Kraky grounds ones out in front of the plate that is fielded by the catcher Katey Dolan who throws her out.  Lindsay Kraky singles up the middle to give the Lady Chiefs their first baserunner.  Amanda Bryla singles to left and advances to second as the throw comes into third base - runners at second and third.  Arielle Pruzinsky pops up to the catcher in foul territory for the third out - the Lady Chiefs strand two in the top of the first.

1st Inning (Bottom)

Katey Dolan leads off for the Huskies and goes down swinging for out number one.  Abby Kobylinski stands in - draws a walk to give the Huskies their first baserunner.  Ashlyn Zellefrow strikes out for out number two.  Kacey Haas up next - caught looking at a pitch on the outside corner to end the inning.

2nd Inning (Top)

Stephanie Racht pops out to shortstop for out number one.  Erica Bylotas now at the dish - single to left.  Margie Toolan stands in - caught looking at a called third strike - now two out.  Jen Kutch with a high pop up to third base that is caught for the third out.

2nd Inning (Bottom)

Brittany Learn strikes out.  Andrea Collins now steps to the plate to face Pruzinski - strikeout looking - two outs.  Lauren Roth stands in - starts batting left handed - after two strikes turns around to the other side of the plate - battles with a bunch of fouls balls - strikes out swinging to end the inning.  Arielle Pruzinski now with 6 K's after the first two innings.

3rd Inning (Top)

Shayla Esgro hits the first pitch but right at the second baseman Cara Angelotti for out number one.  Kellen Kraky grounds out to second - two out.  Lindsay Kraky takes a turn - line drive up the middle for a single.  Amanda Bryla grounds to the shortstop who throws to second to get the lead runner for the third out.

3rd Inning (Bottom)

Katie Spacht to lead off for the Huskies - Pruzinski picks up K number 7 for the first out.  Cara Angelotti pops up to the catcher Amanda Bryla who can't find it at first but manages to recover and track it down for the second out.  Jennifer Smith pop out to the pitcher Pruzinski who makes a nice over the head catch.

4th Inning (Top)

Arielle Pruzinski lines one up the middle for a single to help her own cause.  Nika Kuzuch in to run for Pruzinski.  Stephanie Racht with a nice bunt to advance the runner but she is thrown out at first on a bang-bang play.  Wild pitch - runner advances to third.  Erica Bylotas slaps one back through the middle for a single that plates the first run of the game.  Margie Toolan hits into a nicely executed 6-4-3 double play to end the top of the inning.

4th Inning (Bottom)

Abby Kobylinski to face Pruzinski - long drive to the warning track in center - aggressive base running helps to make it a triple!  Ashlyn Zellefrow stands in - and she launches one well over the left field fence for a two run homer that puts Harbor Creek up 2-1!  Brittany Learn hits a slow roller that guides itself along the third baseline and allows her to reach first with single.  Andrea Collins strikes out - now two outs.  Lauren Roth to the dish - grounds to first for the unassisted putout.

5th Inning (Top)

Jen Kutch to open the inning - strikes out unsuccessfully trying to check her swing on an outside pitch.  Shayla Esgro goes down swinging as Kobylinski appears to have been inspired by the offensive burst by the Huskies in the previous inning.  Kellen Kraky grounds out to third for the third out.

5th Inning (Bottom)

Katie Spacht to begin the bottom of the fifth - Pruzinski with another strike out for out number one.  Cara Angelotti pops up to third baseman Kellen Kraky.  Katey Dolan next - ground ball back to the pitcher - throw to first to retire the Huskies.

6th Inning (Top)

Lindsay Kraky to lead off the inning - goes down swinging for out number one.  Amanda Bryla to try against Pruzinski - high fly ball to right center - nicely tracked down by Ashlyn Zellefrow for out number two.  Arielle Pruzinski singles to right field.  Stephanie Racht follows with single to left to put runners at first and second with two out.  Erica Bylotas stands in - fly ball to left but Andrea Collins with plenty of time to make the catch to end the Lady Chief threat.

6th Inning (Bottom)

Abby Kobylinski drives a ball deep to left center but center fielder Shayla Esgro makes a long run and catch for the out.  Ashlyn Zellefrow hits a high fly to right field - catch made by Jen Kutch for the second out.  Kacey Haas against Pruzinski - all too often result as Pruzinski records her tenth K to end the inning.

7th Inning (Top)

Margie Toolan hits a ground ball right back at Kobylinski who fields it nicely and throws her out at first to bring Harbor Creek within two outs of a championship.  Rebecca Weinshenk to pitch hit - grounds out to second for the second out.  Shayla Esgro stands in to try and keep the game alive for the Lady Chiefs - Kobylinski fires one past her for the swing and a miss to end the game.
